KIRA (National dress Bhutan)

Kira is the national dress of women in Bhutan. It is an ankle-length dress worn with a piece of rectangular cloth, wrapped and folded around the body and pinned at both shoulders.

Using Bhutanese Kira, as a teaching tool can be a creative and engaging way to incorporate Bhutanese culture and history into different subjects. Here are some ideas on how to use Kira to teach various subjects:
